Dr. Gregory M. Beddell is a board-certified and fellowship-trained plastic surgeon specializing in plastic and reconstructive surgeries, as well as head and neck surgeries. He earned his medical degree at Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED) in 2004. His additional training includes general surgery residency and plastic surgery residency at Summa Akron City Hospital. Dr. Beddell went on to receive additional training in fellowship at one of the nation's top cancer centers, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. He was the recipient of the Van Buren Surgical Research Award in 2007, and the Andrew Kerr, Jr. Award for Clinical Science Research in 2013. The American Society of Plastic Surgeons also recognized him with the award for Best Paper for Pediatric or Cosmetic Plastic Surgery in 2014 at their national conference.
